The new year is upon us and my Christmas was spent reading the ghost stories of M.R James and Sheridan Le Fanu, so well spent and providing me with some much needed inspiration for the stories I’m working on at present. Stories I hope will see the light of day soon. In other news I have been coaxed out of the confines of my studio to teach a Children’s Book Illustration course, two in fact! The first is upon us in a week or so, which runs through to March and the second starts around April. Full details below. It promises to be a fun and creative course and maybe a little spooky. I’m looking forward to it immensely, it will provide a welcome change to toiling away in my studio with just a cypripedium for company and allow me to work with and engage in talk that is all: Illustration.
